Social Studies Director Mitch Bickman was featured in the Fall Issue of the publication Teaching Tolerance. The article focuses on two innovative programs that Mr. Bickman has introduced in Oceanside’s Schools – Big Ideas for Little Kids and Bridges. Mr. Bickman was named Supervisor of the Year by the New York State Social Studies Supervisory Association in 2016.
